Two years of success in Europe

Between 2005 and 2007, Eliane Salek took Brazilian music to Paris, Toulouse, Lyon, Rome, Berlin, Hilden...

Eliane Salek was in Europe from 2005 to 2007 specializing in lyric at the Conservatoire National de Toulouse: She also attended many seminars and workshops on classic music at Ecole de Musique de Villeurbanne . While in Europe, Eliane was able to perform and show Brazilian Music in Paris.

Highlight

Master classes and concerts projects at “Conservatoire National de Lyon”.

The project, started in December, 2006 with a didactic concert at “Salle Debussy at Conservatoire National de Lyon”, was later regained during the months of March and April offering master classes on Brazilian music.

The project about Brazilian music interpretation was created together with the guitar and musique antiqua of the CNR class and was open to all students and teachers. At this stage it explored two genres, “baião” and “choro”, which helped divulgation and the promotion of cultural exchange, creatingt new ways of brazilian music expression.

The project was wery successful and filled the “Salle Debussy”. Its final performance was on the 19th may and had Eliane performing together with the two groups which were made up during the project, one of teenagers and one of children.

The project ended with a very success.. performance, which filled up the “Salle D.” and on the 19th may. On this day Eliane perfomed together with the two groups which were made up during the project: one of teenagers and one of children.

The performance presented the pieces worked during the master classes such as: Imbalanga (Luiz Gonzaga e Zé Dantas), Samba-lêlê (folclore), Vo Chiquinha, Baiôro, Choro pour Lyon (Eliane Salek), Villa Lobos e Augustin de Barrios, among Others.
